Revelation 21:5-7 NLT

5. And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then He said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”

6. And He also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life.

7. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.

Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV

Lord Jesus, I thank You for bringing me to this new year! Let the things that I learned during the pass year serve as guidance and instructions, shaping my actions and decisions for greater achievements this year. I look to You for wisdom and direction. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

… I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.

Philippians 3:13 NLT Bible

As a new year dawns upon us, we need to remember that the past year is gone and there's no need to dwell on it. For some of us, it may have been a year filled with sickness, pain, financial pressures and many other hardships. However, we need to leave them all in the past. We can build on the good things, learn from our mistakes and failures and with help and strength from God embrace and look forward to what lies ahead.

My wish is that this will be a year filled with peace, joy, good health and happiness for all and that we would also enter into a deeper and richer relationship with Him.

Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to embrace another year. Help me to not dwell n the past, but to look forward to what lies ahead for me. May I honour and glorify you in all I say and do. I love you Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease.

Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.

I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!”

Lamentations 3:22-24 NLT

Lord Jesus! I quietly meditate in Your presence. Lord, I thank You, that on this last day of the year, I am grateful to have successfully overcome the many challenges that came my way. Each difficulty has been met with strength and my faith in You. You have shown me Your mercy! I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

Ephesians 1:22-24 NLT

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

Let them try to tell us what happened long ago so that we may consider the evidence.

But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.

1 Chronicles 16:34 NLT Bible

As this year comes to an end, it's the perfect time to pause and reflect on the goodness, faithfulness and everlasting love of Almighty God. For some, it may have been a year filled with joy, laughter and success while others may have experienced sadness, loss of a loved one, declining health, financial challenges or a myriad of other problems. Whatever the situation, we can thank God for His abiding love and faithfulness.

We must also thank God for our loved ones, friends, parents, children, for meeting our needs and the freedom to worship. We may be going through tough times, but the one thing we can surely count on is the goodness and faithfulness of God. He has guided, sustained, protected and loved us as no one can and will continue to do so forever and ever.

Thank you, Lord, for Your goodness and faithfulness!  As we approach the end of yet another year, my heart is filled with praise and gratitude for You, Lord, You've been with me through the good and bad times, protecting and taking care of me. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

John 3:16-17 NKJV

16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

17. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

1 John 5:9-13 NKJV

9. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son.

10. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.

11. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

12. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

13. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
