The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease.

Great is His faithfulness. His mercies begin afresh each morning.

Therefore, I will hope in Him!”

Let them try to tell us what happened long ago so that we may consider the evidence.

But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.

1 Chronicles 16:34 NLT Bible

As this year comes to an end, it's the perfect time to pause and reflect on the goodness, faithfulness and everlasting love of Almighty God. For some, it may have been a year filled with joy, laughter and success while others may have experienced sadness, loss of a loved one, declining health, financial challenges or a myriad of other problems. Whatever the situation, we can thank God for His abiding love and faithfulness.

We must also thank God for our loved ones, friends, parents, children, for meeting our needs and the freedom to worship. We may be going through tough times, but the one thing we can surely count on is the goodness and faithfulness of God. He has guided, sustained, protected and loved us as no one can and will continue to do so forever and ever.

Thank you, Lord, for Your goodness and faithfulness!  As we approach the end of yet another year, my heart is filled with praise and gratitude for You, Lord, You've been with me through the good and bad times, protecting and taking care of me. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

John 3:16-17 NKJV

16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

17. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

1 John 5:9-13 NKJV

9. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son.

10. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.

11. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

12. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

13. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Christmas Day Devotion

December 25, 2024

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"

Luke 2:13-14 NKJ Bible

All over the world believers everywhere are celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. On that first Christmas Day, heavenly angels were praising God and praying for peace and goodwill toward all men.

This exhortation rings true today as we join together in prayer asking that God's peace would reign in our hearts and minds. The angels proclaimed goodwill toward men, and we too must ensure that we always view each other with love, respect and appreciation. It's possible with God's help.

Thank you, Lord, for Your Son, Jesus. I worship and adore you. You are the reason for this season. May peace and love always reign in my heart. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed with His peace and love!

That night there were shepherds staying in the field nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep.

Luke 2:8 NLT Bible

Shepherds never left their sheep unattended. They watched over them during the day and while everyone slept at night, they would be out in the fields guarding their flock from all the dangers lurking around. The sheep were prone to wandering off and the shepherds had to be alert and vigilant. If one sheep strayed, they would immediately go out and search every nook and cranny until it was found.

Similarly, God is our Shepherd, keeping watch over us at all times. Like sheep, we can also veer off course, but thankfully our Shepherd will guide us back on the right path. Psalm twenty-three describes God as our Shepherd, leading, guiding, protecting and restoring us. We have nothing to fear with Almighty God as our Shepherd.

Thank you, Lord, for being my Shepherd. Thank you for Your protection, provision and preservation. Sometimes I wander off, but You guide me back to where I need to be. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

1 John 1:5-9 NKJV

5. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

6. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

7. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
