Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble and keep on praying.

Romans 12:12

If there was ever a time when we need to cling to this verse, it is now. There's no denying that we will be faced with trials and trouble at some point in our lives. Right now the entire global community is coming to grips with a virus that is sweeping across the world and this verse tells us that we need to be patient and hold on to hope that things will get better.

We are also told to keep on praying. In fact, in addition to all the preventive measures we can take and the excellent medical care that's available, prayer is our greatest weapon. We are to pray persistently and incessantly. In fact, we've seen people everywhere calling out to God to heal and deliver. Trouble will surely come, but as children of God, we can rejoice in the confident hope we have in Jesus, be patient because this affliction will not last and above all, be faithful in prayer.

Thank you Lord for the hope I have in You. Help me to be patient in the midst of trials and trouble and may I keep on praying. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
