Bible Verse for March 17th.

But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.

Psalm 56:3

If we let it, fear can be an overwhelming and crippling emotion and can take over our lives. We become fearful about our health, finances, the safety of our children, being in an accident and the list goes on and on. Even as a child of God knowing that He is in control, guiding and protecting us, we still get afraid at times.

When this happens and it will from time to time, we need to affirm God's Word and be assured that He is in control of every situation. We don't need to succumb to fear and allow it take over our lives because God has us in the palm of His hands. He knows our future. We need to trust Him and not let fear steal our joy.

Thank you Lord for watching over me. I will not allow fear to rob me of my joy. Whenever I'm afraid I will put my trust in you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
