Bible Verse for October 28th.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

Psalm 34:18

We can all relate to the feeling of being brokenhearted and having our spirits crushed. We feel drained physically, spiritually and emotionally and we are left feeling hopeless and empty. We feel crushed beneath the weight of our brokenness and wonder if it's going to get better.

Thankfully we serve a God who has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. He is close to us when we feel broken and alone and has promised to rescue us. We cannot allow ourselves to cave under the weight of our brokenness. We need to draw close to God, immerse ourselves in His Word and surround ourselves with people who will encourage and lift us up. God is close to us and He will rescue us. Brighter days are on the horizon.

Thank you Lord for always being with me. I feel lost and alone but I cling to You. I know that You will rescue me. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
