The disciples were amazed, "Who is this man?" they asked. "Even the winds and waves obey Him!"

Jesus was asleep on the boat with His disciples when a fierce storm broke out. They were scared and woke Jesus asking for His help. He simply spoke to the wind and waves, commanded them to cease and calmness prevailed. This is the all powerful God we serve. Just a whisper from Him can calm any storm that's raging within us.

We may think that our situations are too big for Him, but our God parted the Red Sea, fed five thousand with five loaves and two fish, raised Lazarus from the dead and performed many more miracles. The amazing thing is that He still does these things. Oftentimes, we box God in and limit what He wants to do in our lives. There's no problem that's too big for God. He is able. Our job is to keep faith alive and trust Him to resolve the situations in our lives.

Thank you Lord for Your awesome power. You calmed the storm and I know that You can quiet the turmoil that's raging in my life. I believe my miracle is on its way. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
