Some of us are born worriers. We spend a great deal of time worrying about everything.........our children, aging parents, health, jobs and the list goes on and on. Granted, there are things that may be amiss in our lives, but worrying about them solves nothing. All it does is leave us stressed and unhappy.
God wants us to give all our worries and concerns to Him. He cares about us and is concerned about all that is happening in our lives. When we surrender everything to Him, His peace fills our hearts and minds. Worrying about a situation doesn't affect the outcome. When we let go of our cares, God is then able to effectively work on our behalf.
Thank you Lord for caring for me. Today I give you all of my worries and cares. I trust you to work on my problems and refuse to worry about them. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
