Bible Verse for December 4th.

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you.

Deuteronomy 31:8

We all need to be reminded about the truths found in this verse. No matter what we're facing in life, God has promised to be with us. He goes ahead of us, preparing the way and smoothing out the rough and bumpy paths. He remains at our side during the perilous and lonely times and He will neither fail nor abandon us.

Today, many of us are in the midst of extremely difficult situations, but we need to know that Almighty God is with us. We don't have to succumb to fear and feelings of despair and abandonment. We simply have to cling to God and be secure in the knowledge that He's surrounding us with His abiding Presence. With God at our side, we will be victorious.

Thank you Lord for always being with me. In the midst of my circumstance, I know that You are at my side. Because of that, I will not give in to doubt and fear. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
