Praise is an integral part of our prayer life, but oftentimes we neglect to praise God. Instead, we focus on bringing our needs before Him and forget to praise Him for who He is.....our holy and awesome God who has done and continues to do so much for us. Many times we find ourselves praising God when things are great and then somehow we fail to do it when things are amiss in our lives.

We need to praise God when the sun is shining and also when dark clouds are hovering over us. Our praise touches His heart and moves Him to act on our behalf. There is always so much to praise God for and we should begin and end each day worshipping and praising Him. In fact, praises to God should flow freely from our lips. Psalm 48:1 tells us that God is great and deserving of our praise. As His children, we should never forget to praise Him.

Thank you Lord for being a great and awesome God. I thank you for all You've done for me, for Your guidance and protection. You are holy, O Lord and I worship you. There is none like you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
