It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that never happened before.

God told Noah to build a large boat and gave him specific instructions as to how it should be done. Noah had great faith in God and he didn't allow the ridicule and snide comments from the people around him to distract and deter him from obeying God. He trusted Him and just did as he was told. As we know, it rained for forty days and every living thing on the earth was destroyed except for those on the ark. God rewarded Noah because of his faith and obedience.
Today, many of us know that there are things God wants us to do, but we're scared and afraid of failure, of what people may say or how difficult the task might be. Just as Noah did, we need to step out in faith and trust God to work everything out for us. We must ignore all the negativity and simply obey God. Great things are in store for us when we do.
Thank you Lord for believing in me. My desire is to obey you and do whatever You want me to do regardless of how difficult it may be. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
