Work at living in peace with everyone.

It can be quite difficult at times, but as this verse tells us, we must work at living in peace with everyone. There will always be people who will disagree with us, rub us the wrong way or be unkind and mean-spirited, but our duty is to react with love. In fact, we may all know someone who thrives on discord and confusion.
As children of God, our duty is to aim for peace. This means that we may have to walk away from situations before they escalate, avoid being overly sensitive and always be respectful of someone's opinion even though we don't agree with it. Above all, we have to radiate God's love and peace. We may not always succeed, but we have an obligation to be peacemakers.
Thank you Lord for Your perfect peace. Help me to do all I can to live in peace with everyone. Let me be sensitive, kind and understanding to those around me. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
