Bible Verse for April 18th.

Put on all of God's armour so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.

Ephesians 6:11

Every day we're faced with things that threaten our faith. If we're not equipped to deal with these attacks on our lives, we will fall victim to the wiles of the enemy. As children of God, we need to put on the full armour of God, so that we will remain firm and grounded in our faith, regardless of what comes against us. We are to gird ourselves with truth, righteousness, peace, salvation, faith, the Word of God and prayer.

As believers, we're always under attack from satan as he doesn't target those who are living ungodly lives, but just those who are striving to live for God. This is why it's critical for us to clothe ourselves with the armour of God. We must ensure that each day we are armoured up with truth, righteousness, faith, the Word of God and prayer. Without God's armour, we are defenceless and vulnerable to the ploys of the enemy. Suited up, we can withstand anything that comes against us.

Thank you Lord for Your armour. Help me to clothe myself with Your truth, righteousness, peace, salvation, faith and Your Word. I know that when I put on Your armour, I can withstand the wiles of the enemy. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
