Bible Verse for June 26th.

I took my troubles to The Lord; I cried out to Him and He answered my prayer.

Psalm 120:1
NLT Bible

When troubles come our way, we have a choice. We can complain, wallow in doubt and self-pity, seek out friends and unburden ourselves or we can go directly to God with our problems and leave them there. When we do, peace floods our souls and we have the assurance that God is in control and will work everything out. It's easy to be upset and develop a 'why me' mentality when troubles come our way, but we are never immune from problems in this life. They hit us when we least expect it, but thankfully, we can take them to God.

Some might argue that God already knows our struggles. He does indeed, but He wants us to come to Him in prayer. When we do, things happen. It may not be immediate, but God is working on our behalf. There's power in prayer and it should be a priority for us, and not only in our times of need. We serve a faithful God who hears and answers when we cry out to Him.

Thank you Lord for answered prayer. I look to you, Lord. I cannot deal with these problems on my own and I surrender it all to you. I know that You will work everything out for my good. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
