God has graciously blessed each one of us with skills and talents and we are required to use them to serve others and to honour Him. When we use what we've been given, He showers us with even more abilities. Doors open and many opportunities present themselves.
If God has endowed us with the gift of hospitality, musical abilities, communication or organizational skills, we need to use them whenever we can to bless others and to advance the spread of the Gospel. Many times, we withhold our skills and talents because of laziness, fear of failure or rejection. We cannot allow this to happen. We must step out in faith and use our God given gifts. Left unused, they stagnate and die. Our duty is to be faithful in using our gifts to bless others and honour God.
Thank you Lord for the skills and talents You've given to me. Help me to use them diligently and faithfully to serve others and bring honour and glory to you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
