Bible Verse for June 1st.

Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing and yet we have everything.

2 Corinthians 6:10

Despite everything that's happening in our lives, we can have joy because of Jesus. Our hearts may be aching because of trials and challenges, but our relationship with God fills us with an inner joy that allows us to view things in perspective and realize that God is in control. We may be poor, not having much in the way of wealth and material things, but with Jesus in our lives, we are rich in the things that really matter. Because of that, we can reach out and minister to others and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Everything we have belongs to God. We own nothing and yet we have everything. God provides for our needs and blesses us with all that we have. There's no need for us to worry or despair about the circumstances of life. All we need to do is to surrender our lives to God and trust Him to guide and direct our steps.

Thank you Lord for caring for me. Because of you, I am filled with joy despite my pain. I may not have much, but You meet my needs and I am rich in what really matters. My desire is to serve you and share the Gospel. I love you Jesus. Amen!
