Bible Verse for June 2nd.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever."

Revelation 21:4
NLT Bible

In this life we all experience death, sorrow, tears and pain. We cannot escape it. Sometimes our pain can be overwhelming and we cry until we simply can't cry anymore. Thankfully, for the child of God, the day is coming when these things will be gone forever. We will be spending eternity with Jesus and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. God will wipe away every tear from our eyes, all pain will be gone and happiness will fill us as we celebrate and worship Him, the King of kings and Lord of Lords.

While we live in anticipation of this time, we will still experience trials, but we must recognize that they are just temporary. We need to look to God for peace, comfort and strength during these times and also reach out to others who may need a shoulder to lean on, some encouraging words and comforting hands to wipe away their tears.

Thank you Lord for Your promise of eternal life. I look forward to that glorious day when I'll be free from pain, sorrow and tears. Help me to be a source of encouragement as I wait for that glorious day. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
