Bible Verse for May 8th.

........If another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.

Galatians 6:1
NLT Bible

We are all flawed and 'mess up' from time to time as we try to deal with struggles in our lives. Therefore, when we see someone stumbling and getting off course, we have a responsibility to gently and humbly help them back on the right path. Many believers sometimes think that it's not their concern and the person needs to get their act together and refrain from wrongdoing. However, we need to respond as Jesus would, with love, sensitivity, compassion and tenderness.

People know when they're doing something that's wrong and this is when a helping hand is needed to gently, but firmly lift and guide them onto the right path. We have to be available, to pray and be a shoulder to lean on. As we help to restore someone, we must be cautious and alert so that we also don't succumb to that temptation. It requires time, patience, prayer and and love, but it's worth it when we see that person restored and on the right path again.

Thank you Lord for Your love and compassion. Help me to be willing to reach out and help someone who is struggling with some sin. Fill me with Your love and gentleness so that I can help in guiding them on the right path once more. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
