Bible Verse for May 30th.

If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.

Galatians 6:3

This verse reminds us that we need to have a servant's heart and always be willing to help those in need. Sadly, many people are delusional and believe that they are too important and don't need to extend a helping hand, but everyone is deserving of our help. We are only fooling ourselves if we think that we are above reaching out to someone in need.

As children of God, a genuine and tangible expression of our faith is the ability to help someone, to do whatever it takes to minister to their need, whether it's helping an elderly person, preparing a meal for someone who's hungry, visiting someone in hospital or assisting a single parent with their children or household chores. The needs are endless and varied, but we can never think that we are too important to reach out and help. It's what God requires of us.

Thank you Lord for Your kindness. Help me to be kind, compassionate and helpful to others and to never think that I am too important to reach out and minister to a fellow human being. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
