Bad news can come at any time in our lives and no one is exempt from it. We may be having a good day and then, out of nowhere, calamity hits. We may have to deal with a job loss, financial problems, a bad health report, problems with a child or many more challenging situations. As children of God, we don't have to consume ourselves with fear. It's easier said than done, but if we centre our thoughts on Him and remember all the things He's done for us in the past, we are able to confidently trust in Him and be at peace in the midst of our trial.

The enemy will always try to attack our minds and then we envision the worst possible outcome to our situation. We may not know how our problem will evolve, but we can trust that God will be with us as we walk through our struggle. Difficult and trying times may be part of our journey, but if we surrender everything to God and keep holding on to Him, He will see us through to victory.

Thank you Lord for always being with me. I pray that I will never allow fear to consume me when I'm faced with difficulties. May I always place my trust and confidence in you alone. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
