Give me happiness, O Lord, for I give myself to you.

Many people are searching today. They're on a quest for inner peace and happiness and seem to think that they can find it in friends, fame, wealth, careers and the pursuit of pleasure. They devote all their time and energy to acquiring these things but still lack the happiness they so badly desire. The void within them remains, despite all their efforts to live happy and fulfilled lives.

God alone is the true source of happiness and everything else that we're searching for. When we enter into a relationship with Him, He fills us with His peace and joy and brings purpose into our lives. Trials and struggles will still come our way, but because of Him, we don't succumb to despair and depression. As we surrender ourselves to God and seek Him sincerely and wholeheartedly, His joy fills our hearts and minds and life takes on new meaning.

Thank you Lord for Your joy. You alone bring purpose to my life and fill me with peace, happiness and joy. I give myself to you, Lord. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
