Bible Verse for April 15th.

But The Lord watches over those who fear Him, those who rely on His unfailing love.

Psalm 33:18

We never know what can happen on any given day. We get up, begin our day's activities, but unforeseen things can throw us off course and potentially cause us harm. We have no control over these things, but when we fear, honour and obey God, we have the guarantee of His care and protection. Many people try their utmost to control the circumstances in their lives, by coordinating and scheduling every minute of every day. Sadly, serious and terrible things can still happen.

As children of God, we need to put our trust fully in a God who loves us and wants only the best for us. Many people live in a careless and disobedient manner, flagrantly breaking the commandments of God. However, we cannot be indifferent and dismissive about God and then expect Him to protect us. Our love for God must cause us to fear Him and heed His laws and precepts. As this verse tells us, when we do, we can count on God to watch over us.

Thank you Lord for Your protection. I know that You are always watching over me and I pray that I will always fear, honour and obey you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
