There's no denying it. Not everyone will want us to succeed and prosper in life and there are many who will try to harm us with their words and actions. Their aim will be to unsettle and discredit us with negative comments, undesirable behaviour, lies and gossip. This may fill us with despair and cause us to become sad and discouraged. As followers of God, we don't have to fear these assaults or retaliate in anger, because God is on our side and nothing that is aimed at us will harm us or succeed.
We are children of the most High God, and as such, we have the authority to silence every negative and demeaning word hurled at us. We can do this by continually affirming the Word of God and by refusing to accept or let anything deter us from fulfilling our God given destiny. We don't have to do this on our own strength, but we can do it, with strength and power from Almighty God. As long as we are walking with God, there is absolutely nothing that can harm us. This is just one benefit we enjoy as His children. There is no need to be depressed or cower in fear. We just have to keep on speaking words of victory over our lives and every situation we encounter.
Thank you Lord for Your Word. You've said it and I believe it, that no weapon formed against me will prosper. In Your Name alone, I refuse to accept any negative thing thrown at me and I speak victory over my life. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
