Bible Verse for November 29th.

Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.

Ecclesiastes 11:4

Many of us wait around for the perfect time to do something, however, there's no perfect time like the present. If a farmer keeps looking at every cloud and every shift in the weather pattern before he plants, then he will end up never planting and ultimately, will never harvest. Similarly, we cannot put our dreams, plans and goals on hold and wait for perfect conditions before pursuing them. It could be starting a new diet, an exercise program, a seminar we've always wanted to attend or a business venture.

Many of us even put off witnessing, waiting for the perfect scenario to share Jesus, but our delay could result in someone missing out on a relationship with God. We have to make the first move and step out in faith. When we do this, God will equip us with power and strength to succeed. We need to grasp every opportunity to pursue our dreams and endeavours and shake off laziness, fear, doubt, insecurities, complacency and any negative thought that creeps into our minds. We may never be able to recapture lost opportunities if we sit silently back, waiting for perfect conditions. The time to work, pursue our dreams and do what God wants us to do is now.

Thank you Lord for Your strength and power. Help me to never waste time sitting around waiting for perfect conditions before doing something. I surrender my fears and inadequacies to you and purpose to seize each moment to work hard and to serve you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
