Young people, it's wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do.

Being young is such a wonderful thing. It's a time to explore new horizons, to be carefree and adventurous, to have big dreams, to enjoy life with friends and family and to have fun doing it. However, it's important for young people and adults alike, to do all these things without violating their core belief and faith in Almighty God. Many young people live for the moment, throwing caution to the wind, having a good time partying, sometimes even venturing into illicit drugs and alcohol with no thought at all to the consequences.
Young people need to realize that life with God is never dull nor boring. There's so much joy that comes from serving Him and participating in clean and wholesome activities. Having fun is good, but it's important to stay within the boundaries of what is pleasing and acceptable to God. Oftentimes, the consequences to wrong actions can alter the course of life for many young people and they need to be reminded of the importance of wise choices. Above everything else, all of us will one day have to give an account of our actions to God. As parents and adults, we have the responsibility to pray for our young people, to guide them in the right direction and to love, respect and support them.
Thank you Lord for our young people. They are our future and I pray that with your help, they will make wise choices, that they will stay on the narrow path and live to please you. Let us always be mindful that we will have to account for all our actions. I love you Jesus. Amen!
