For I will fight those who fight you and I will save your children.
Isaiah 49:25
NLT Bible
This is God's wonderful promise to us. He will fight those who fight us and He will save our children. We don't have to despair or give in to worry. Our job is simply to appropriate the promises of God, surrender our children to Him and keep praying, trusting and believing for them to have a personal relationship with Him. They may be living 'good' lives, but have not fully committed themselves to God or may have deviated off course and need to get back on track. Some of them may even be on a destructive path that fills us with trepidation. Our responsibility is to let our lives be examples, reflecting the goodness and love of God, to keep holding on to what He has promised us and to also remember that the seed we've planted will always remain in their hearts.
There will always be people who will want to harm us and see us fail. We are children of the Most High God and He will fight those battles for us. We don't have to react to people and situations or become fearful, stressed and unhappy. These problems are in God's hands and out of our control. God is faithful and as we keep on praying, we have the assurance that He will hear and answer our prayers.
Thank you Lord for your promises. I purpose to keep on praying for my children and I know that You will save them. You have also promised to fight my battles for me and I lift my hands in surrender and thankfulness to you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
Be Blessed!
Lydia
