Yes, each of us will have to give a personal account to God.

Romans 14:12

The time will come for each one of us to give an account to God of what we've done with our time on earth. We need to recognize that we will be held accountable for our actions........everything we've said and done. Our desire should be, that we be found faithful. We want God to be pleased by our service to Him and to others, by the way we shared the gospel and by a life that was lived with obedience, honesty, integrity and faithfulness.

Nothing escapes God. We cannot hide anything from Him and our account will only bear witness to what He already knows. Jeremiah 17:10 tells us that God examines our motives and He will reward us based on our actions. Our duty is to always walk circumspectly and let our lives shine brightly for Jesus. As His children, being found faithful is the thing we should covet the most and we need to purpose in our hearts to let nothing keep us from that goal.

Thank you Lord for saving me. My desire is to live a life that's pleasing to You and to be found faithful when I stand before You. Help me Lord, to live according to Your precepts. I love you Jesus. Amen!
