Bible Verse for March 23rd.

Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.

Philippians 3:8

The most important thing in life is knowing Jesus. When we truly know Him, He becomes the centre of our universe and nothing can compare or compete with Him. Our desire to have an ongoing and intimate relationship with Jesus should be our greatest priority. We may have to loosen our grips on things that may impede our relationship with God, but we must recognize that everything else is worthless when compared with the value of knowing God.

We all have things that we cherish, things that mean the world to us, but in the grand scheme of things, they are meaningless in relation to following Jesus. Every relationship, every thing we own is temporal. Only Jesus matters. He is everything.......our hope, peace, joy, strength. It's all in Him. Without Him, we would be lost, adrift at sea, with no hope for a future. As believers, we must ensure that God is our first priority and be willing to lose everything for His sake.

Thank you Lord for loving me. Without You, my life would have no meaning. Help me to never let anything or anyone affect my relationship with You. My deepest desire is to know You. I love you Jesus. Amen!
