Bible Verse for February 4th.

"Let us be thankful and please God by worshipping Him with holy fear and awe".

Our God is an awesome, holy and righteous God and He is worthy of our reverence,
worship and praise. Sadly, there are so many who have no respect for Almighty God and
they use His Name in a careless and derogatory manner, with no thought about their
disrespect to Him. As children of God, we are to revere Him in everything we say and do.
That means we honour Him for who He is.....our Lord and Saviour and thank Him for His
goodness, His greatness and His everlasting love for us.

We show reverence for Him through worship and praise, giving Him glory for His many
blessings. We also respect Him by being obedient to His Word, by living in a manner
that's pleasing to Him and by serving others. Job 37:24 says "No wonder people
everywhere fear Him. All who are wise show Him reverence." Our God is holy and we
need to worship Him with reverence and awe.

Lord, You are holy and awesome and I worship you. May I always honour and respect
You in everything I say and do. Let my life be pleasing to You, Lord Jesus. I praise Your
Holy Name. I love you! Jesus. Amen!
