Bible Verse for February 3rd.

Be very careful how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every
opportunity, because the days are evil.
Ephesians 5:15-16

There are times when we find ourselves stuck in a routine, just going through the motions
of living without giving any thought to our true purpose in life. We have to move beyond
a mundane existence, set priorities and goals and make every moment count for God. We
must seek Him to determine what He desires of us. God has given us all abilities and
talents and wants us to use them to serve others and to draw them to Him. Whatever He
has called us to do, we need to do it to the best of our ability, doing it all for His honour
and glory.

We are called to live wisely, to worship, to fear, to honour and obey God and to make
every effort to keep ourselves pure and holy. Our time in this world is temporary and the
day will come when we will have to stand before God and give an account of what we've
done for Him. Understanding this should propel us to live each day with purpose and
excellence, in love and service to Almighty God.

I worship you Lord. My desire is to live a life of purpose, to serve and worship You all
the days of my life. Help me to live carefully, to make wise decisions and to make every
minute count for You. I love you Jesus. Amen!
