Do everything without complaining or arguing.

There are so many things that can annoy us during any given day and complaining about
them seems to be the normal reaction. We are prone to complain about the weather, our
job, our neighbours, traffic, people who serve us, our family, housework and the list goes
on and on. There are even some people who are known as chronic complainers because
they moan and grumble about everything.

As children of God, complaining ruins our testimony because people are watching us. It
also causes us to lose sight of the goodness of God and we fail to appreciate all that we
have. We need to make a conscious decision to turn our complaining into praise and
thankfulness. When we are tempted to complain about situations and people, we can
decide to concentrate on all the good we can see instead. There are also times we may
complain and grumble when facing trials, but if we recognize that God is in the midst,
working in us, refining and shaping us for what lies ahead, we will refrain from
complaining and focus on what He is trying to teach us. With God's help, we can learn to
do everything without complaining and be an example for those around us.

Thank you Lord for all that You have given me. Help me to not grumble and complain,
but to look for the good in everything and everyone. Help me to be a kind and agreeable
person. Let my life be a witness for You. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
