Bible Verse for February 18th.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:5
NKJ Bible
Many people may be experiencing pain, heartache, sorrow and anguish. There seems to
be no way out, the walls appear to be closing in and for some reason, this despair seems
to be magnified during the night. Sleep proves to be difficult and they lie awake in bed,
tossing and turning, weeping, thinking and strategizing, wondering if things will ever
improve and they yearn for morning to come. Recognize that it will, a new day will
dawn, the tears will stop flowing and hope and joy will reenter our lives.
No one is immune from trials and tribulations.........they are part of life, but as children of
God, we need to recognize that they don't last. In the midst of our sadness and tears, God
is with us, sustaining and reassuring us that this pain will end, that joy is on the way. We
need to remember that while trials may be difficult and painful, they draw us closer to
God and cause us to become wiser and more compassionate.
Just as the dreariness of winter ends and spring bursts forth with new life, we also have
the assurance that our weeping is temporal and joy will certainly come if we remain in
faith and keep trusting God.
Thank you Lord for always being with me. You see my tears, feel my pain and because
of You, I can look forward to a new day filled with hope and joy. Help me to never give
up, but to keep holding on and trusting in You. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
Be Blessed!
Lydia
