Bible Verse for February 19th.

You go before me and follow me. You place Your hand of blessing on my head.
Psalm 139:5

This is such a reassuring promise, knowing that our God has hemmed us in. He goes
before us and He also follows us. We don't have to fear anything because God is always
with us. He has enclosed us with His love and protection and His hand of blessing is on
us. Psalm 16:8 says "I know The Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is
right beside me." If we are living according to the precepts of God, we can safely say that
nothing can harm us, because God has surrounded us.

He is with us in every situation, every circumstance, fielding off the darts of the enemy.
His angels are on guard, shielding us from danger. We need to get in the habit of
declaring and claiming God's protecting presence over everything we do.... when we go
out and when we come in. Many of us can probably recall situations when we felt God's
presence in such a tangible way and knew that we were enveloped in His love and
protection and that all would be well. There is no greater promise for the child of God
than knowing that He is always with us.

Thank you Lord for always being with me. You go before me and behind me, leading,
guiding and protecting. Thank you for blessing me, Lord Jesus. Help me to always live in
a pleasing manner before You. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
