Bible Verse for February 17th.

And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it.
1 Peter 3:15
NLT Bible

When we live in obedience before God, those around us usually notice the difference in
our lives and may have questions about our faith. We must always be ready to defend it,
regarding it as an opportunity to explain the hope we have in Jesus.
We can never shy away from expressing who Jesus is and what He means to us and our
answers must be founded on the Word of God. This means that we should always be
reading and meditating on the Word, asking God to open our hearts and minds to its truth.

For many of us, it may seem to be a daunting task to speak up about our faith, but this is
what God expects from us and we should be happy to do so whenever the opportunity
arises. We must respond to questions in a gentle and respectful manner, never becoming
argumentative or aggressive, as what we say and how we say it becomes our testimony
for God. As we deepen our relationship with God, we find the courage to speak up and
the wisdom to know exactly what to say about the wonderful hope we have in Jesus.

Thank you for being my Lord and Saviour. Because of You, I have the promise of eternal
life. Lord, give me the courage to always defend my faith, to let others know what You
mean to me, that without You, I am nothing. I love you Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
