Bible Verse for October 12th.
At
the name of JESUS every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the
earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father.
Philippians
2:10-11 NLT
Bible
There's no
name as great and precious as the Name of Jesus. His Name brings peace,
healing, deliverance, strength, comfort and joy. There's also power in His Name
that brings change, renewal and restoration. All we need to do is acknowledge
Jesus as Lord and we can have the assurance of knowing that He will hear and
answer us. We should make a habit of speaking the Name of Jesus over every
situation in our lives. The day is coming when every knee will bow before
Almighty God. Sadly, many people continue to reject Him as Saviour and Lord.
At the
mere mention of His name, the devil has to flee. What an awesome privilege it
is to know Jesus as Lord of our lives.
Thank you,
Lord, for Your abiding presence. You are my Saviour and I know that in the
midst of every circumstance and trial, I can call upon you. There's power in
Your Name and I bow my knees in praise and gratitude before you. I love you,
Jesus. Amen!
Be
Blessed!

Oh come, let us
sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our
salvation.
Let us come before His presence with
thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
For the Lord is the
great God, and the great King above all gods.
In His hand are the deep places
of the earth; The heights of the hills are His
also.
The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land.
Psalm 95:1-5 NKJV
Heavenly Father, I offer thanks and praises for the abundance of Your
blessings! Lead me all the Way, O Lord! I love you, Jesus. Amen!

The Lord is close to all who
call on Him, yes, to all who call on Him
in truth. He grants the desires of those who fear Him;
He hears their cries for help and rescues them.
Psalm
145:18-19 NLT Bible
This is one of the most
reassuring promises from Almighty God.......to know that He is close to us and
hears our cries. However, there is a prerequisite. We have to first connect
with God, to be in a relationship with Him and desire to love, honour and obey
Him. We draw close to God by spending time with Him in prayer and meditating on
His Word. We have to come to God with humility and sincerity, sharing our
innermost thoughts, struggles, failures, doubts and cares and trust in Him to
answer us.
When we reach out to God in
this way, we are guaranteed His mercy, protection and guidance. He will respond
to our pleas, grant our desires and His answer will always be timely and
perfect, in accordance with His plan and purpose for our lives. God yearns for
us to be close to him, to call on Him and fellowship with Him. He wants to help
us, to see us live victoriously and succeed in all our endeavours, but it
hinges on one thing, an ongoing, sincere and intimate relationship with
Almighty God.
Thank
you, Lord, for caring for me. Today, I
bring my cares and concerns and pray that You will hear and answer me. You know
everything about me, what I'm facing,
and I lay my burdens at Your feet and trust you to answer. I love you, Jesus.
Amen!
Be
Blessed!

BIBLE VERSE FOR OCTOBER 11th.
THANKSGIVING
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3: 15-17 NIV
Lord I give You thanks for all that You have
done for me. You are worthy of all praise! Lord, I pray for Canadians as they
celebrate Thanksgiving wherever they may be, keep Your divine hands on each one
and may praise and thanksgiving be only to You for all that You have provided. I
love you Jesus. Amen!
