Psalm 23:1-6 NKJV

1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2. He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3. He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever

Christ died for us

And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.

Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit. Having said this, He breathed His last.

Luke 23:33-34 & 44-46 NKJV

Lord Jesus, I worship You! I thank You for this occasion to commemorate Your death at Calvary! Thank You for the Cross. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39 NKJV

Jesus, You are Lord! Let Your love be manifested in my life. I pray for guidance and protection for all of my friends and relatives, wherever or in whatever situations they may face. Let Your mercy, grace and love be with us! I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

John 14:12-14 NKJV

Lord, I thank You for Your many promises! Above all that I may desire, give me wisdom, so that I may make decisions that are in obedience to Your Word. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

For by grace, you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV

Lord, it is through Your mercy and grace that I am able to face another day with confidence! You are worthy of all praise. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

“After telling this story, Jesus went on toward Jerusalem, walking ahead of his disciples.

As he came to the towns of Bethphage and Bethany on the Mount of Olives, he sent two disciples ahead.

“Go into that village over there,” he told them. “As you enter it, you will see a young donkey tied there that no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here.

If anyone asks, ‘Why are you untying that colt?’ just say, ‘The Lord needs it.”

So, they went and found the colt, just as Jesus had said.

And sure enough, as they were untying it, the owners asked them, “Why are you untying that colt?”

And the disciples simply replied, “The Lord needs it.”

So, they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their garments over it for him to ride on.

As he rode along, the crowds spread out their garments on the road ahead of him.

When he reached the place where the road started down the Mount of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen.

“Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in highest heaven!”

But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, “Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!”

He replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!”

James 1:2-8 NLT

2. Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.

3. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.

4. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

5. If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

6. But when you ask Him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.

7. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

8. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed but not driven to despair. We are hunted down but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT Bible

No one is immune from trials, troubles, pain, hurt, sadness, grief, sorrow or discouragement. At some point in our lives, we will experience circumstances that will perplex and dismay us, but we serve a great God who will never abandon us. He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us, and we may get knocked down a few times, but we will never be destroyed. It's His promise to us. As believers, we cannot allow the inevitable ups and downs we encounter in life to crush us. Even though in the natural, things may seem grim and bleak, our hope must be in God. He is still in control.

We need to stay in faith, push through the trials, pain and disillusionment and wait expectantly for the change that will come. It's striving, with God's grace and His help and strength to lift ourselves out of our broken state. Needless to say, it will be difficult, but God is with us, holding us in the palm of His hands and things will get better. We will smile again, and joy will fill our hearts, but we have to look up and hold on to God.

Thank you, Lord, for Your abiding presence. No matter what I face or how many times I get knocked down by circumstances and trials, You are with me. Lord, my hope is in You alone and I know that brighter and better days are ahead. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

John 15: 4-5 NLT

“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in Me. Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing”.

“My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus' blood and righteousness

I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name”

 Chorus

“On Christ the solid rock I stand

All other ground is sinking sand

All other ground is sinking sand”
