This verse fills us with the reassurance that in the midst of trouble and uncertainty if we cry out to God, He will hear and answer. During this time so many people are filled with a sense of hopelessness and despair. However, instead of allowing these feelings to consume us, we can spend time in earnest and sincere prayer crying out to Almighty God.

There are so many instances in the Bible when people cried out to God. They acknowledged their helplessness and their need of God to rescue and deliver them from a seemingly hopeless and desperate situation. He did just that. Whatever we're facing today, be assured that God will hear and answer us. We have to stand firm, wait patiently and be filled with hope. 

Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer. In the midst of this trouble I'm facing, I cry out to You and know that You will hear and rescue me from this distress. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
