You have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth.

Proverbs 6:2

Our words are powerful and oftentimes, we trap ourselves by the things we say, speaking continually, carelessly and negatively about our circumstances. We give power over and over again to words of doubt, defeat and despair. Regardless of what we're facing or what we can actually see before us, we need to declare words of victory.

 We may be struggling emotionally, physically and financially, but instead of magnifying the problem with our words, we need to keep thanking God for the better days that lie ahead of us. It's possible that many of us remain trapped in our troubled state because we nurture our problems by the way we speak. Each day, we need to verbalize life affirming words of hope, healing, deliverance and success over our lives.

Thank you Lord for my voice. Help me to use my words to speak hope and healing into every circumstance in my life. Remove negativity and despair from me. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
