There are many things we do that aren't inherently wrong, but they can lead us wanting to do more and this sets us on a slippery slope that compromises our beliefs and values. This verse cautions us to live wisely and carefully until Christ returns. We are living in an age where if we're not careful, it's easy to be a part of things that are contrary to the Word of God.
The Bible gives us a clear guide for living acceptable and pleasing lives. We cannot condone or be indifferent towards declining moral values. It's important to live wisely and please God regardless of what others think or of being ostracized. Jesus is coming soon and as believers, it is incumbent upon us to live honourably for Him.
Thank you Lord for loving me. Fill me with Your wisdom and help me to live for You and please You in all I say and do. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
