Bible Verse for November 20th.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, O Lord will keep me safe.

Psalm 4:8

Sleep can be elusive for many of us. We lie awake at nights tossing and turning with a multitude of thoughts swirling around in our minds. Many of us worry about our children, health, finances, jobs and the list can go on and on. There's no need for us to be like this. God has promised us restful and peaceful sleep and we are to appropriate this promise as we retire for the night.

We have to surrender every burden and care to Him knowing that He's in control. God loves us and wants only the best for us. We simply have to trust that all things will work together for our good. With that in mind, all we need to do is give every concern to Him and lie down in peace and sleep.

Thank you Lord for restful sleep. As I retire for the night, I surrender all my cares, concerns, doubts and fears to you. I am at peace because You are in control. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
