Bible Verse for June 3rd.

Your godliness will lead you forward, and the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind.

Isaiah 58:8

When walking alone, we often glance behind us to see if anyone is following. There's nothing wrong with that because we need to be cognizant of our surroundings. However, we cannot become obsessive about it because in actuality, it will hinder us from moving forward and achieving all that we've set out to do.

As believers, we have the assurance of God's divine protection. He's 'watching our backs'. We don't have to be afraid of attacks from the enemy as God has us covered. He goes before us, walks behind us and alongside us. Our business is to keep on moving forward pursuing righteousness and godliness, confident and secure in the knowledge that we're protected by God. When we do this, we're safely on our way to achieving our God-given potential.

Thank you Lord for Your protection. I don't have to be afraid of what others can do to me because You have hemmed me in with Your divine protection. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
