Bible Verse for June 14th.

In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.

It's easy to play the blame game when things go wrong in our lives. We think that what's happening to us is unwarranted and unfair and we blame someone else for it. In fact, we may even blame God, wondering why He allowed it to happen. We think we don't deserve to be in this predicament and indulge in self pity and walk around with a 'why me' mentality.

Job lost everything he owned, but through it all, he did not blame God and was never angry with Him. In fact, Job worshiped God. We must never blame God for the trials we face in life. We need to recognize that He is in control and keep on trusting Him while holding fast to our faith. Like Job, we must maintain a good attitude and rely on God's grace to sustain us. We may not understand the reason behind our suffering, but if we go through it with the right attitude, we can emerge wiser, stronger and closer to God.

Thank you Lord for Your grace. I'm in a difficult situation right now, but I know that Your grace will be sufficient to see me through. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
