Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction.

A delicious meal is able to bring us immense satisfaction. We savour every morsel enjoying it to the very end and it leaves us happy and satiated. This can be compared to having someone speak words of wisdom to us at a time when we need it most. Their words encourage, edify, uplift and satisfy us.
We are to use our words wisely as it sets the tone for our relationships and interactions with others. People should feel good about themselves after listening to us. Many times, words are used to chastise, berate and humiliate others but this is not what God expects of us. We are to use wise words to bring hope, peace, joy, healing, inspiration and encouragement. We have to continually surrender out thoughts to God because they eventually become our words. We need to ask God to fill us with wisdom and knowledge so we can use the right words to bless and inspire others.
Thank you Lord for the ability to speak. Help me to use my words, whether verbal or written to validate and bring hope and gladness to those I interact with. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
