Bible Verse for May 7th.

"Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God."

Luke 9:62
NLT Bible

This verse cautions us to keep moving forward and to avoid looking back. Jesus compared it to the danger of having our hand on a plow while constantly looking backwards. Many of us are guilty of doing just that. We know that God has good things lined up for us, but instead of forging ahead on the path He's set before us, we keep looking back on things that should remain in our past.

We agonize over our past mistakes and failures and hold on to bitterness and old grudges that detract and deter us from moving forward with God. We need to position ourselves to receive all that He has in store for us and become His true and faithful servants. We must leave the past where it belongs, fix our gaze on Jesus as we move ahead and busy ourselves doing all we can to build the Kingdom of God.

Thank you Lord for the path You've set before me. Help me to keep moving forward and refrain from looking back at my past mistakes and failures. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
