Bible Verse for April 9th.

For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.

2 Corinthians 5:10

The day is coming when each one of us will stand before God to be judged. As this verse tells us, we will get whatever we deserve for any good or evil we've done during our time on earth. No one can answer for us. We have to stand in God's Presence and be accountable to God himself.

This knowledge along with our love for God should be the driving force behind everything we say and do. It goes without saying that we've done wrong things, but being good and faithful stewards of our time and resources is what we should aspire to each day. God will reward us accordingly for all we've done. We must make every moment count for goodness and righteousness.

Thank you Lord for being my Father. Help me to live for you each day and be a good and faithful servant. Keep me from wrongdoing and may my actions bring honour and glory to you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
