Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don't have.

Ecclesiastes 6:9

If we really think about it, we sometimes spend a lot of time wishing for things we don't have instead of appreciating and enjoying what we already have. We may be dreaming of a bigger house, a newer car, a more lucrative job or more expensive clothes, thinking that the acquisition of these would make us happy. Sadly, we are mistaken.

God wants us to be happy with what He's blessed us with......our family, honest and trustworthy friends, a comfortable home, a job and a reliable car. We need to rid ourselves of a mentality that focuses on wanting the things we don't have, and invest our time and energy in being contented and enjoying all that God has so richly blessed us with. When we're happy with what we have, God blesses us with so much more.

Thank you Lord for all You've given to me, I pray that I will always be happy and contented, and enjoy all that You've blessed me with, my family, friends and all my material possessions. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
