Bible Verse for April 22nd.

The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will answer my prayer.

Psalm 6:9

As children of God, we have the assurance of knowing that God hears and answers our prayers. When we are in an ongoing relationship with Him, we can come before Him with confidence and trust that the answer will come. Sometimes, we have our pre-conceived ideas of what the answer should be, but God knows best and His answer is always perfect and fitting.

Today, many of us may be praying for something or someone and we feel that our prayers are not being answered. We must never give in to doubt or despair, because God is at work and when we least expect it, the answer will come. Our role is to be open, honest and sincere when we pray and to relinquish every burden and concern to God. Then as we wait, we thank Him for hearing and answering our prayers.

Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer. I surrender every care to you and I thank you for the answer that will surely come in Your perfect time. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
