Bible Verse for April 13th.

........But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of My hands.

Isaiah 49:15-16

Many of us have gone through periods of feeling lost and forgotten. Even today, there may be some who are simply going through the motions, waking up each day, then going to bed at nights with overwhelming sadness and loneliness, thinking that no one cares for them. We all need to be reminded that God loves and cares for us and has our names etched on the palms of His hands.

He knows us intimately, our strengths and weaknesses, our likes and dislikes and our insecurities and fears. God knows it all and He loves and cares for us like no other person can. We belong to Him and our names are indelibly written on His palms. This conjures up a picture of belonging and knowing that come what may, our God is holding and supporting us. We are His children and we are precious to Him.

Thank you Lord for writing my name on the palm of Your hand. I find comfort and strength in knowing that I belong to you. Thank you for loving and caring for me. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
