Bible Verse for March 22nd.

The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants.

There's always a war raging within us. We desperately want to do what's right and pleasing to God, but our sinful nature pushes us to do the opposite. We must recognize that we cannot live righteous and pleasing lives on our own. When we rely on our own strength, we fail. To live for Christ, we need to be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

The struggle to resist wrongdoing is a serious one, but it becomes easier when we deepen our walk with God through time in prayer and fellowship with Him. We cannot allow ourselves to be ruled by our sinful nature that's always trying to undermine our relationship with God. Temptations will always be there, but when we're obedient to the Holy Spirit, we're able to resist the fleshly desires that threaten our walk with God.

Thank you Lord for Your Holy Spirit. Sometimes the urge to give in to temptation and engage in wrongdoing wells up within me. However, I am able to resist because of the leading of the Holy Spirit. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
