Intelligent people are always on a quest to learn more. They are inherently curious, have a hunger for knowledge and love to listen, read, discuss and participate in conversations that broaden their general knowledge. They also have a teachable spirit and acknowledge that they don't know it all.

As followers of God, we should possess this mindset. We must have an ongoing desire to know more about God, to understand His Word and its application to our lives. To do this, we must study God's Word and be open and receptive to teachings from godly people. We should also cultivate an awareness and curiosity to gain fresh insights about living for God in a world filled with different people, lifestyles and cultures. Our quest for knowledge is the key that helps us to become spiritually mature and effective believers.

Thank you Lord for the opportunity to learn and grow. Help me to have a teachable spirit and be always willing to learn. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
