Bible Verse for June 16th.

But when Jesus touched her hand, the fever left her.

So many people are in need of healing today. They are sick emotionally and spiritually and need a healing touch to take away whatever ails them. Jesus came to Peter's house and found Peter's mother-in-law in bed with a high fever. As this verse tells us, Jesus touched her hand and the fever left her. That's all it took.......one touch from God. He wants to heal us of our pain and sickness and we just need to have childlike faith and believe that He can make us well.

Throughout His ministry, Jesus always reached out and touched people. Many of us may be in need of a healing touch from Him today, but as we wait, we can be the hands of Jesus and reach out to those who need to know that someone cares. Just a simple touch can bring hope, healing, reassurance and comfort. As we shift the focus off our pain and sickness and reach out to others, healing takes place.

Thank you Lord for touching my life and for healing me. Let me not sit idly by, but help me to reach out and touch those around me who are lonely, sick, struggling and in pain. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
